What a wonderful 3rd edition of Drive Away Cancer Golf! We were honored to have 130+ golfers, 28 sponsors, 12 volunteers, a great new golf venue, and two $5,000 family awards scheduled for that day, one in which was on-site at 9am before the golf began.
The on-site presentation was for Breanna (who was recently diagnosed with stage 4 cancer) and her family. We gave them a check for financial assistance in memory of Greg Jones, who passed away this summer (and whose family, friends, co-workers and company donated in his name to help a family like Breanna’s).
Then, it was time to play golf. Teams hit the course and started vying for the win and various awards, while also checking out our silent auction and raffle. See some of the great photos on our Facebook page.
